Electrical Products Estimator
Requirements :
- Prepare engineering design, specification, proposals, and presentations for fully built up electrical panels. The projects will be identified by sales executives and directed by department manager.
- Proactively support the sales executive in the commercial and technical client negotiations and will use his best abilities to assist to convert the project proposal into an order.
- Carry out component product sourcing and associated procurement activities.
- Follow up product delivery to ensure project schedules are met.
- Coordinate activities of technicians and electrical trade personnel who carry out panel building activities.
- Work closely together with engineering team, including department manager, project manager and other engineers and receive input from them including technical solutions and man-hour estimates of the solution to be proposed to the customer.
- Ensure that all requirements of the customer are recognized and proposals are professional, the most ideal technical engineering solution, and are presented to the customer on time.
- Carry out hardware engineering duties as directed by the department manager and/or project manager to support execution of automation projects.
- Carry out any other instructions of the department manager or sales manager when they are given.
- Male/ Female age 25-30 years old
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical College Diploma for Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics or similar discipline.
- At least 3 years experience in supporting sales teams for turn-key Process Control Systems or leading Industrial Automation , or having more than 3 years experience working for first class panel maker .
- Having some back ground knowledge about busbar sizing calculations, short circuit calculations and Low Voltage panel design drawings using Autocad.
- At least 3 years experience in commercial procurement and estimating of electrical products and/or electrical engineering activities.
- Strong communication abilities with clear fluency in English
- Self-motivated, dynamic, strong team player but also able to work independently
